Leader Korps engages adults in community service and leadership opportunities to help accomplish Kids Korps’ mission: to instill in youth the spirit of giving while providing valuable education in leadership and responsibility. Join Leader Korps and help Kids Korps develop Leaders for Life through youth volunteerism.  Here are some volunteer opportunities:

PROJECT LEADER:  Become a Project Leader for Kids Korps’volunteer projects: Check in volunteers and oversee service project with parents/children, sign volunteers in and out. Time commitment:  2-4 hours per project

STARBUCKS “FILL A BACKPACK…FEED A MIND” EVENT/HUGS FOR KIDS FEST:  Aug. 27

9am-noon. Volunteers will work as part of a team to coordinate service projects including Pack a Backpack sponsored by Starbucks, collecting donations of materials/supplies; coordinating volunteers; working with Kids Korps staff and the Teen Leadership Council, and contacting potential vendors and speakers for Hugs for Kids kickoff festival.  Time commitment: 2-8 hours per week through Aug. 27^th (based on individual availability).

HUGS FOR KIDS
Participate as a committee member, researching and presenting options for each element of this new program.  Time commitments will vary based on your availability.   Weekly committee meetings will start in mid July.
