Blankets of Love:
More than 300,000 children in America are rescued from abusive homes annually, often with no more than the clothes on their back. Our sew-free blanket-making project will provide comfort to these precious children and youth. Corporate teams work in groups as they create and package these blankets that provide comfort to hundreds of children annually.

Green Korps: Energy Saving & Environmental Stewardship
Support year-round ecological and energy saving outreach events and educational programs projects including habitat, park and recreational area cleanups and restoration, removal of non-native and reintroduction of native species.  Kids Korps “Green Korps” program and our partners will help your team go green, conserving energy and the environment.

Adopt-A-Chapter: Under-resourced Communities
As demand grows, Kids Korps is looking for partners to adopt existing or develop new chapters.  Join us in supporting one of more than 65 regional chapters: adopt a neighborhood, school, member organization or community center.  Corporate partners have helped create and sustain chapters in under-resourced neighborhoods such as City Heights.

Build-A-Bike: Providing Joy to Children through the Gift of a First Bicycle
Give a child in need (ages 5 to 9) the freedom and joy of a new bicycle, helmet, lock and safety training. Your staff will have fun and learn to work better as a team as you build bicycles for children who have never had one before.  Kids Korps will work with your team to select recipients and plan this as an element to an existing or new corporate event.

Trees of Hope:
During the holidays, many are unable to buy a Christmas tree and ornaments. “Trees of Hope” is the ideal project for an organization planning an annual Holiday party and wanting to spread good cheer.  Whether it is making handmade ornaments and trees or decorating wreaths these programs are a festive way to brighten the holidays.

Volunteer Camp:
Join Kids Korps in offering weekend and weeklong volunteer camps exposing participants to 5 days of service-learning activities. Your company can help fund a camp in your neighborhood or a community in need. Beyond underwriting, corporate partner employees act as mentor/leaders and lend their expertise to a variety of camp experiences.

Build-A-House:
Families need suitable, safe and stable shelter, fire, flood, and other challenges can make homes uninhabitable. Join our volunteers and families in building new or renovating existing homes to create suitable housing for families in need. We work with organizations including the Fuller Center for Housing and Habitat for Humanity to create these events.

Emergency Preparedness Kits:
Support training and service programs that lead the nation in disaster and emergency preparedness.  Create care kits and learn disaster preparedness with the experts.  Teams work to assemble kits as they learn about emergency preparedness. The finished kits are then donated to families or foster care facilities.

Pet Korps:
Kids Korps offers year-round animal, wildlife and pet-related volunteer programs and services that impact animal care and outreach.  Corporate partners can choose from a variety of animal based projects from making catnip and dog chew toys to leading horseback therapy programs for disabled youth.
