Membership Categories

  Your annual Kids Korps USA Membership is valid for the school year 09/01/2011 TO 08/31/2012

• $28 for one child and parents for a school year
• $56 for two/plus children and parents for school year
• $280 for one child and parents for lifetime

More Information:

Kids Korps USA is a membership-based youth volunteer organization. We offer 1300 family-friendly service projects throughout San Diego County on our calendar each year. Members are able to create their own family profile, sign up for projects throughout the year (as many as you would like!), and participate in special events. It is $28 for one child (plus 2 parents/guardians), or $56 for 2 or more children (plus 2 parents/guardians) each year. Scholarships are available for families needing financial assistance. Our membership year runs September 1^st-August 31^st, but you can register anytime throughout the year.

Kids Korps (ages 5-11)

Teen Korps (ages 12-18)

College Korps/Pro Korps (19 and up)

Benefits of membership:

• Already created and organized service projects with more than 350 nonprofit agencies throughout the County making it easy to volunteer!
• Family-friendly/kid-friendly volunteering with animals, seniors, homelessness, environment, military, etc. The whole family can volunteer together. 12 and up can volunteer on their own, if they choose.
• Kids Korps provides each member (5 years old and up) with their own liability insurance policy, making it easy for our young volunteers to get involved with nonprofits who typically only carry insurance for adults 18 or older.
• Each member gets their own profile–you can track your volunteer hours, download certificates of service, and apply for Presidential Service Awards!
• We have 74 Chapters throughout the county hosting events and projects within schools and community centers. You don’t have to be part of a chapter to join Kids Korps, but you may find a Chapter at your child’s school and join in with their Kids Korps sponsored projects (or start your own chapter—we provide all of the training!).
